Former Feyenoord star Rob Maas has called on Ajax to stand by Bertrand Traore.

There are calls for Ajax coach Peter Bosz to drop the on-loan Chelsea attacker after recent flat performances.

But pundit Maas argues: "To sacrifice him now is not an option.

"Why not? Because he is 21-years-old and can only learn by playing a lot."

He continued: "That boy is always trying. He wants to be better every day. That includes when things aren't going for him."
