Ajax attacker Lucas Campos has admitted frustration after leaving Sevilla last summer.
Campos says he left Sevilla after not seeing eye-to-eye with coach Julen Lopetegui, who has since been sacked and appointed as Wolves manager.
The Argentina international said: "It was advantageous to leave at the last moment, both for me and for Sevilla. I was like a second captain, I had been there for three years but I had differences of opinion with the coach (Lopetegui).
"I had a good relationship, we didn't argue, but I was ready for a new challenge. Ajax is a club that plays in the Champions League and, after speaking with coach (Alfred) Schreuder.
"I had the right sensations towards the big step. Of course, I'm playing much less than expected but if you want to know more, ask the coach. I can only give my best, I joined the team later, I'm waiting for my minutes."
