Juventus president Andrea Agnelli is keen for former sports chief Luciano Moggi to be welcomed back into the game.
Moggi, now 77, was at the centre of the Calciopoli scandal in 2006.
"Luciano Moggi is an important part of the history of Juventus," Agnelli said.
"We are the country of Catholicism and forgiveness, he can be forgiven.
"It is true, we were wrong [in the Calciopoli scandal], but how is it possible that those who did the same [with reference to Inter] came out of it with the Scudetto in their pocket?
"Juventus were the only ones to pay for conduct which applied to everyone else."
