Liverpool defender Dan Agger has welcomed their successful transfer market.

Deadline day saw Mamadou Sakho, Tiago Ilori and Victor Moses join earlier signings Kolo Toure, Simon Mignolet, Iago Aspas, Luis Alberto and Aly Cissoko at the Reds.

"It has been a successful transfer window for us. We have been provided players with quality and that is what you want," said Agger.

"I have not seen everyone in action, but what I have seen so far is very positive."
