Daniel Agger has confirmed he is committed to Liverpool despite the fact Rafael Benitez has left the club as manager.
The Denmark international will not seek an exit from the club after being purchased by Benitez in 2006 and although he has a healthy respect for the tactician, will not attempt to follow him to Inter Milan.
"The time with him was good," Agger told the club's official website.
"He is a good manager, he knows his stuff and he knows what football is about.
"When I return from my summer holiday, I'll see what is new, but his exit has no bearing on my future.
"I'm committed to Liverpool."
