Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has been offered to Barcelona.

Knowing Barca have been snubbed by Gini Wijnaldum, Van de Beek's agents have been in contact as a potential alternative. Wijnaldum was in talks with Barca, but ultimately the departing Liverpool midfielder has committed himself to a PSG move.

Sport says Van de Beek has been offered to Barca, making it clear the Dutchman would be keen on such a move. Any deal would involve an initial loan arrangement.

For the moment, the Catalans are yet to respond to the proposal.
