Agents for Man City's Tevez plead with Barcelona to take him

Manchester City rebel Carlos Tevez has been offered to Barcelona.

Sport says Barca had the chance of making a major market blow in the final hours of the winter transfer window, but declined the proposal.

Pep Guardiola and Andoni Zubizarreta remain firm in their intentions to finish the season with what they have.

Tevez has been offered more than once to Barca in recent weeks, but while Zubi and Guardiola regard the player highly, they weren't interested in taking him midseason.
