AC Milan have struck personal terms with Lille defender Sven Botman.

Botman's agents were in Milan yesterday and spent time at the club's HQ, reports Sky Italia.

The meeting broke up with an agreement over personal terms, though a move to Milan is not yet settled.

Newcastle also remain in contact and will seek to outbid Milan both in terms of the player's contract and fee due to Lille.

Botman's agents also attended San Siro on Wednesday night to watch the 4-0 win over Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarter-final.
