Agents blame Alonso for Juventus failing to land Chelsea pal Emerson

Agents are blaming Marcos Alonso for scuppering Emerson's departure from Chelsea for Juventus last week.

Calciomercato.com says Emerson looked the most likely to move on for most of the summer.

However, with Juventus close to a move, a spanner was thrown in the works by the deterioration of Alonso's relationship with manager Frank Lampard.

The Italian giants tried to sign Emerson on loan with an option to make the deal permanent, only for the fall-out from the Blues' 3-3 draw at West Bromwich Albion reportedly prompting the London club to ensure Alonso was the one who left the club.

The report suggests Alonso's demands made a move to Juventus impossible, and that there was not enough time for Andrea Pirlo's side to complete a deal for Emerson after reopening negotiations on October 4, the day before the deadline.
