The agents of Dean Windass admits there's been tension with Hull City boss Phil Brown, but that won't lead to the veteran asking away.
Despite being linked with Leeds, Grimsby and Hartlepool this season, Windass is happy to fight for his place at his hometown club.
Nicola Benn, of the player's representatives First Artist Management, said: "A few clubs have shown an interest, but at the moment he is still needed there and is an important part of the squad."
When asked about potential problems with Brown, she added: "There has been a little - but not enough to be actively looking to leave."
