Italian agent Claudio Pasqualin has urged Inter and AC Milan not to go overboard in their chase for Santos star Paulo Henrique Ganso.
Santos have declared this week they are listening to offers for Ganso after he made it clear he wanted to move to Europe in the summer.
Ganso is close to Inter Milan coach Leonardo, while AC Milan officials have also spoken openly of moving for the Brazil international.
But Pasqualin warns: "There is no doubt that Ganso is a player who is very fashionable. But these auctions and situations contribute to overstate the importance of young lads like him.
"Now I fear his importance is being overstated by Inter and Milan.
"In the end, the ones who benefit are definitely the player and his current club."
