The agent of Roma striker Shabani Nonda admits Blackburn Rovers face competition for his permanent signing.
"I cannot ensure Nonda will play for Blackburn next season - it is open but Rovers have priority," John Dario, the player's agent, told BBC Sport.
"He played for them but it depends if they want him. Another club in England has made contact."
Roma are reported to want a fee in the region of £1.4m to make Nonda's move to Rovers permanent - but the player has also been linked with Newcastle.
