Agent: Spurs management very happy with Dragusin

Tottenham's new arrival Radu Dragusin's agent has revealed a message he received from the club's head coach.

Australian manager Ange Postecogllou, who has been in charge at Spurs since the summer, told Dragusin to bide his time.

He is hoping to get more game time since arriving in the winter from Genoa, but has been on the bench for most matches.

"He got that shot in the groin and I asked him if he was OK," his agent Florin Manea told Romanian outlet Fanatik Superliga.

"He had a ball that he received directly in the line of the Dragusin family. He said it's OK. Ioana [Dragusin's girlfriend] was watching their match. I talked to her and she said 'Wow, what hit him'.

"He was happy and that's normal, because that's what he wanted. He wanted to play in the Premier League and he succeeded. He doesn't think it's any harder and feels like he's in a rhythm. He feels good, but he noticed the difference in quality.

"I think he had positive emotions. He told me that he likes to play under pressure, that's what he likes and what motivates him. They are very OK as a group and he likes it there."

"The coach always talked to him and told him to stay calm that everything will be fine, to be patient," added Manea.

"He has a meeting with the athletic director tomorrow, but I have nothing more to learn.

"They had a well-established plan. He had to wait his turn and help his team. It was normal, because the two defenders played very well together and it was difficult to take them out. From one point of view, it was not normal to take them out.

"Competition is progress. Everyone was happy for him, that's normal. They know him every day from training. For them it is not such a big surprise that he played well. I see him every day in training.

"I was talking to someone at the club and he told me that he is training exceptionally well. You have nothing to reproach them with. Training is like a match for Radu. This is what we have been aiming for for many years. How you train, how you play."
