Napoli are in talks for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Arturo Vidal.

The 24-year-old midfielder, full name Arturo Erasmo Vidal Pardo, is the second major reinforcement planned for the Partenopei after a bid for Udinese's Gokhan Inler.

"Of course Vidal could come to Napoli. I can confirm they are in negotiations and a meeting has taken place," revealed agent Fernando Felicevich in the Corriere dello Sport.

"I'm afraid I cannot add anything more right now."
