Manchester City have made an offer for Lille star Eden Hazard.

French market expert Marc Formeaux has revealed to Calciomercato.com that City have had their offer rejected by the Ligue 1 champs.

"In France we are talking about an offer of €30 million from Manchester City, which would keep him on loan until June at Lille, but the president wants €40 million," he said.

"Eden has revealed a desire to play for Real Madrid."
