Lazio are serious about signing Hercules striker David Trezeguet.

The former Juventus legend has made it clear he wants a return to Serie A following a season at Hercules in Spain.

"David is a free agent, as Hercules released him after the club was relegated," agent Antonio Caliendo told Lalaziosiamonoi.

"The transfer market is all about rumours, but I have to say there is genuine interest from Lazio.

"Trezeguet would represent an important element for the Biancocelesti, while Lazio would be a welcome option for the player."
