Lecce defender Souleymane Diamoutene is attracting interest from Fiorentina.
"I think that Souleymane is an important player and that he was ready for Serie A at the start of this year, but he chose to stay in the Cadetti with Lecce due to his attachment to the club. He had already been approached by some big foreign sides.
"I don't think that a deal will be done now as he is too important to Lecce to leave quickly.
"The club turned down around £2m for him this summer and he is at the African Cup of Nations where he can prove his abilities. His value could also rise, as there are a number of sides tracking him."
