Espanyol were reported to have offered Roque Santa Cruz a temporary move away from Manchester City. However, the Paraguayan's agent, Jan Van Baal, has dismissed the allegation that his client is pursuing a loan move.
"I think the rumours are all press stories," Van Baal told Sport.co.uk. "Roque is not going anywhere. He is staying in Manchester. That is it. I had a call from Espanyol but that link is not happening.
"He will stay at Manchester City," Van Baal reiterated. "He is happy at Manchester City, and Manchester City are happy to have him. That is the end of it."
