Fulham midfielder Jean Michael Seri is wanted by Serie A clubs.
Seri, who two years ago was close to joining Barcelona, cost the West London side a club record £25million from Nice last summer.
And the midfielder is keen to leave Craven Cottage following Fulham's relegation to the Championship and has made it clear that he would like a move to Italy.
Crystal Palace were keen to keep him in London but haven't followed up their initial enquiry with a formal offer, says the Daily Express.
AC Milan are in the market for another central midfielder this summer and have made it clear that they are interested.
It comes after Seri's agent Franklin Mala confirmed talks had begun with Roma.
He said: "My Italian partner and I spoke to Roma a couple of weeks ago. We'll see how the situation evolves.
"He'd be happy to play in Serie A and Roma are a very good club."
