Edinson Cavani will not return to Italy's Serie A unless there is a massive change at AC Milan.

The Paris Saint-Germain striker, who is being heavily linked with Manchester United, has also emerged as a target for the Rossoneri according to reports.

Cavani's agent Claudio Anellucci revealed to Radio Olympia that the former Palermo and Napoli star is unlikely to again play in Italy but that could change depending on the potential change of ownership at the San Siro.

"I can rule out Edinson returning to Italy," said Anellucci.

"There aren't the [financial] conditions for any club to take part in a bidding process to get him. The markets right now are Spain and England.

"What I can tell you is, pay attention to how the situation develops with the ownership of Milan…"
