The agent of Kevin de Bruyne says PSG rates the VfL Wolfsburg star ahead of new signing Angel di Maria.

Di Maria left Manchester United for PSG last month.

Patrick de Koster revealed to Sport / Foot Magazine: "I met Olivier Letang (assistant team manager) a few times.

"We first considered the possible role of Kevin before talking numbers. Their priority was Kevin De Bruyne and not Angel Di Maria.

"But the transfer of Kevin, if it is officially recorded, will cost more than that of the Argentine (€63m), I am 100% convinced."

Manchester City hope to sign De Bruyne this week.
