Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel's agent has dismissed rumours linking his client with a move to Besiktas but has insisted that the 31-year-old will almost certainly leave Anfield in the summer.
The Slovakia international, who has long been linked with an exit from the Merseyside club, lost his place in Jurgen Klopp's starting eleven this season and is set to depart in the upcoming transfer window but Turkish side Besiktas will not be his destination.
Skrtel's agent Karol Csonto said: "It's complete nonsense, he has not signed any contract (with Besiktas). I've even talked with Martin about another club.
"Besiktas is one of those interested in Martin, but we're haven't reached a point where I can confirm Martin is going there, or anywhere else.
"But I can say that it is 90 percent sure Martin will leave Liverpool, but it is far from closed."
