The agent of Southampton midfielder Carlos Alcaraz admits he's keen on a move to Napoli.

Alcaraz only moved to relegated Southampton in January.

“Alcaraz is on vacation, we are waiting and hopefully will receive a call from Italy," agent Sebastian Lopez told Radio CRC.

“He is from Argentina and like all Argentineans, Napoli means Diego Maradona. At this moment, he is very motivated and we hope this can become reality. There was interest from Napoli last season, but no official contact with the directors this term, at least not yet.

“He is leaning heavily towards Napoli and we continue to wait. I cannot confirm negotiations right now, but we'll figure out soon how the transfer market will develop."
