The agent of Fabio Miretti admits he had several offers to leave Juventus this past summer.
However, Francesco Branchini says Juve coach Max Allegri didn't want to lose the young midfielder.
He told TuttoJuve: "All the medium-small teams, in this case those that have been read about in the newspapers (Bologna, Genoa, Monza and Salernitana), were interested in him. His intent, from the beginning, was to have a season as a protagonist. He was well aware that Juve could not guarantee him a starting place, so he made himself available to evaluate other interesting solutions. In his mind he always had the desire to play a lot this season.
“Mister Allegri and the management were fundamental, including Cristiano Giuntoli who had just taken office. They specifically told us that the boy was not transferable, and so it was. He is very happy with having stayed and with the space he is finding on the pitch.
"The relationship between them is very scholastic: the coach is the professor and Fabio is the student. There is a lot of cordiality, respect and we really like his way of coaching."
