The agent of Fabio Borini says Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is excited about what the Italian can offer next season.

Borini's first campaign at Anfield was plagued by injury, though he finished strongly, much to the pleasure of Rodgers.

Agent Marco de Marchi told Itasportpress.it: "When he played, we did catch a glimpse of his talent and he was appreciated by the leadership of Liverpool, which are now waiting for him confident of next season.

"Fabio will use next season to establish himself and find the rhythm of the Premier League."
