The agent of Alberto Gilardino insists the striker is staying with Fiorentina.

Napoli are preparing a €21m bid for Gilardino, although his agent denies receiving any offers.

Marcello Bonetto told TMW: "Let the rumours regarding Napoli and Lyon go. There is nothing concrete.

"Alberto must think about doing well during the World Cup.

"For me, he'll play for Fiorentina next year."
