Simon Mignolet's agent hopes a deal can be done to take his client from Sunderland to Liverpool.
The Belgian goalkeeper is being heavily linked with a potential summer move to Anfield and his representative Guy Vandermissen has his fingers crossed about the possibility.
"We hope that there can be a deal and he can go to Liverpool," he told Sky Sports.
"If you go from Sunderland to Liverpool it is a big step forward. You have to make decisions at certain times."
He added of lack of European football possibly affecting the move: "When you play Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal every week, this is European football, so what is the problem?"
