The agent of David de Gea doesn't expect the goalkeeper to stay with Manchester United long-term. The Spaniard's agent, Jorge Mendes, has added fuel to the speculation by claiming that his client could leave Old Trafford for Real Madrid.
In a recent interview, he is quoted by the Daily Star: "David is amazing, he's brilliant.
"He's a Man United player and has a contract there. You have to respect that but things change every five minutes."
Despite his sensational claim, Mendes believes the former Atletico Madrid star, who has made 154 appearances for the Red Devils, will sign a new contract at the Theatre of Dreams.
He added: "I think so, yes. I think there is no problem for him to sign.
"When you are a [regular] player, then probably you are the best and then the manager is very happy that a player that is fixed in the line-up will stay."
