Roma are set to secure midfielder Matteo Brighi to a new contract this week.
Brighi's agent, Vanni Puzzolo, said: "Between Wednesday and Thursday I will be in Rome to close the negotiations to renew the contract of Brighi.
"We've agreed on the duration and terms, he will sign until 2012."
