The agent of Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj has hinted at interest from AC Milan.

Former Viola coach Vincenzo Montella was named Milan boss this week.

"I read of Roma interest in the papers, but to be honest nobody has contacted me," representative Dejan Joksimovic told Calciomercato.it.

There could be more hope for the Rossoneri after appointing ex-Viola boss Montella.

“He always had a good rapport with Montella and they respect each other. That is true of all the Coaches that he worked with.

“This is because he doesn't complain when left on the bench and on the field he will always work for the team and not his own interest."
