Florent Malouda's agent has told setantasports.com that the Chelsea winger is not on the verge of moving to Barcelona.

The Catalan press claim that Malouda's representative met with Barca's sporting director Txiki Beguiristain about the France international's future.

Former Lyon star Malouda may leave Stamford Bridge during the summer, having failed to impose himself since his move to West London.

However, he has played more regularly under Avram Grant, and is unlikely to be thinking of his future ahead of Wednesday's Champions League final.

Barcelona are looking for a left winger, but Malouda’s agent Philippe Flavier told setantasports.com: 2I have not met with Barcelona, it is too early to know what Florent's future is made of.”
