The agent of Jan Vertonghen is coy over his future at Tottenham.

Barcelona have been linked with a bid for the Belgium international.

Mustapha Nakhli told Het Nieuwsblad: "Several teams were interested in January, I cannot confirm or deny if Barcelona were among them.

"Tottenham are not a small club. It is too early to give them an answer.

"Several clubs expressed an interest in January. We'll see."
