Talk of a move to Napoli for Boca Juniors midfielder Augustin Almendra has been played down.

Sportitalia reported a deal was practically done for the 18-year-old midfielder, worth in the region of €10m.

But agent Adrian Ruoco told Tuttonapoli: “There's nothing concrete about it. Boca, as of now, do not want to sell. As far as I know, this is just newspaper gossip.

“Nobody has called me.

"Almendra will not leave Boca in January and we haven't been in contact with any other club."
