The agent of Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez has confirmed interest from Leciester City.

The new Premier League champs see the prolific Perez as an ideal foil for star man Jamie Vardy.

"There have been many calls from the Premier League, Calcio and Spanish Liga. And it is true that the English club champions have asked for Lucas," Rodrigo Fernández Lovelle told El Desmarque.

"England is a league that attracts any player. The English league, with the Spanish and German, is the best in Europe, not to mention the Calcio. Lucas would not be averse to playing in the Premier League, but he's already playing in a big league.

"But every player wants to contest the Champions League."

Perez has scored 17 goals in 36 games this season.
