The agent of Giorgio Chiellini says a new deal with Juventus will be a formality.

The veteran defender's current deal is due to expire in June.

But Juve are eager for the club captain to play on into next season.

“Giorgio is a very strong personality on and off the pitch," Lippi told Tuttomercatoweb. “He's a champion who changes the balance.

“There will be no problem to renew. The Scudetto? I'm sure that Chiellini will change this Juve for the better."
