The agent of Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has revealed contact with Tottenham.

The 22-year-old is one of the most highly-rated wide attacking players in Europe and has also been linked with Atletico Madrid.

His representative, Bektas Demirtas, told Express: “It is true that Tottenham have registered their interest with me."

Spurs have a long-standing interest in Marseille's Georges-Kevin Nkoudou but the deal has stalled.
