Agent Rafaela Pimenta has confirmed Santos striker Marcos Leonardo will move to Europe in January.

AS Roma are favourites to sign Leonardo.

Pimenta told Sky Italia: "It would be a question to ask Roma, Tiago Pinto (general director of Roma) will be there this afternoon.

"What I can say is that the player is ready to leave and this time there is a fixed price, there will be no need for long negotiations, the correct agreement has been reached with Santos.

"He did everything he had to do in Brazil to help the team and now he is ready to leave."
