Manchester City and Manchester United have been encouraged in the race for CSKA Moscow winger Milos Krasic.
The Russia international was hopeful of joining Juventus, but their announcement of a deal for Catania winger Jorge Martinez appears to have ended their interest. They also snapped up Udinese wide-man Simone Pepe a fortnight ago.
City's interest has been confirmed by Krasic's agent, while United have also been monitoring the situation according to Italian sources.
Krasic's agent Vlado Borozan told Tuttomercatoweb.com: "The deal with Juventus is closed. After Martinez the Bianconeri cannot also bring in Krasic.
"Now the most likely club is Manchester City, even though the footballer has said he wants to play in Italy."
