Lazio defender Stephan Lichtsteiner is being lined up by new Inter Milan coach Rafa Benitez.

The Switzerland international is regarded highly by Benitez and could move to Inter as a replacement for Real Madrid target Douglas Maicon.

"I'm sincere," agent Marco Lichtsteiner told Cittaceleste.it. "If Inter called, it would be difficult to turn down. I have not personally met (Inter director Marco) Branca, but I do not exclude that Stephan could go to Inter.
