The agent of Banfield starlet James Rodriguez has confirmed Juventus are desperate to sign the Colombian whizkid.

Juve chief scout Renzo Castagnini was in Argentina last week to discuss terms with Banfield directors.

Bruno Carpeggiani confirmed to Tuttomercatoweb: "Juventus are following him. But the player has other offers from abroad. In Spain and Germany there are interested teams, but also other Italian ones, like Udinese, who asked for him in January, Fiorentina and Genoa.

"The price? Between €6-7 million."
