Liverpool striker Andy Carroll came close to signing for AC Milan this season.
Carroll is playing out the campaign on-loan at West Ham United, but Italian agent Carmine Coviello says things for the Geordie could've been very different.

"But the management did not believe at the time that the Reds would allow him to leave on-loan. Then instead they gave him to West Ham."
