The agency representing Aaron Ramsey have denied their client has asked for a £300,000-a-week wage in his new Arsenal contract.

The Welshman is in talks over a new deal that would keep him at the Emirates.

Ramsey has been a Gunners player since 2008 but has now entered the remaining year of his current contract with the North London side and Arsenal must offer a lucrative deal to keep a hold of him.

Asked on social media about the wage request, Avid Sports & Entertainment Group firmly denied any truth in this rumour.
