Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat refuses to panic over their poor start to the season.
Despite Tuesday night's 4-1 mauling at the hands of Manchester City, Advocaat believes a Black Cats revival is on the horizon.
"I am not worried," he said despite seeing his side pick up just two points from six league games.
"I believe in this squad and have seen moments, even against City, which makes me confident.
"Last year, no-one gave us a chance and I kept telling the players every day 'let them write you off but we will do it' and they did it.
"We have to cut out individual mistakes but these players know what they are doing and I have confidence we can do what we have to again.
"Last season doesn't count anymore - and I did a good job by the way.
"But I think our fans still believe in me and in this squad."
