Adnan Januzaj hits U21 hat-trick day after playing in Man Utd win over QPR

Adnan Januzaj hit a hat-trick for Manchester United U21s yesterday in victory over Sunderland.

Little more than 24 hours after the first XI routed QPR by the same scoreline, Januzaj - who played eight minutes of that game - was in scintillating form for the development side, which also featured Brazilian midfielder Anderson and £28million England international Luke Shaw.

Januzaj got another 85 minutes of action under his belt and will have done his chances of featuring at Leicester this weekend no harm at all. Shaw got 45 minutes action as he looks to step up his fitness after injury.

Andreas Pereira also struck for United on the night.
