Southampton boss Nigel Adkins admits steaming into his players this week after victory over QPR.

Saints are desperate to make it two wins in a row.

Adkins had to interrupt the players in training to remind them that this was yet another relegation showdown.

He said: "After the first 20 minutes of the session I stopped and said, 'Don't think what you have done last week is going to be good enough - you have got to be on it every single training session'.

"The final hour was absolutely bang on!"
