Former Sydney FC captain Mark Rudan looks set to become an Adelaide United player. The 33-year old is expected to undergo a medical today and is likely to sign from Liechtenstein club FC Vaduz.
"It's nice to be in Adelaide to have a look at the place for the next couple of days," Rudan said.
"I want to get a good feeling about the club and place and see where it takes us."
Rudan lead the Sky Blues to the A-League title in the competition's inaugural season in 2005/06 before moving onto Japan's J-League to play under former coach Pierre Littbarski at Avispa Fukuoka and then followed the German tactician to Vaduz in January this year.
