Adelaide's Galekovic shows faith in A-League Socceroos

Adelaide United goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic knows the all A-League squad selected to take on Indonesia tonight is capable of getting a result.

With many first-time national selections in the squad, the number one Reds custodian knows it will be a tough job but one that can be achieved, especially since A-League players can get more Asian exposure these days.

The A-League has vastly improved since the first year and the guys from Melbourne Victory and Adelaide are a lot more experienced in terms of playing in the ACL and know what to expect," he said.

"We haven't been here very long and it really is a case of coping with the humidity.

"It's very important that we start well and the confidence builds from there. An early goal would be nice.

"I've played on the big stage before in the Champions League and against some big teams like Kashima Antlers and Gamba Osaka.

"I would expect a similar type atmosphere tomorrow and undoubtedly we'll be given a hostile reception."
