Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor wants to remain at The Emirates and improve his game. The Togo international was linked with a move away from the Emirates during the summer but decided to stay to continue his education under 'Le Professeur' Arsene Wenger.
The 24-year-old told Le 10 Sport: "I have become a new player at Arsenal. I have improved a lot and I won't stop. I can still improve.
"Why did I stay last summer despite contacts? Arsenal has always been my priority. I am in the club I wanted to be. I am happy we could find agreement. I have prolonged my contract until 2012. It was the right choice to go on growing.
"This season, we have the best team since I joined the club. It is the one with the biggest potential, compared to the last two seasons. We just have to have more faith in our abilities."
