Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has confirmed what was already acknowledged by most pundits, that strikers Emmanuel Adebayor and Craig Bellamy have no future at Eastlands and will be offloaded as soon as possible. Both players are free to leave the club this summer but, ahead of Sunday's Community Shield against Manchester United, no deal has been struck as yet.
Even if Carlos Tevez leaves, Mancini is insistent neither Bellamy nor Adebayor can force their way back into his plans.
"These players [Adebayor and Bellamy] are not part of my plans," said the Italian in The People.
