Former Inter Milan defender Lele Adani is unimpressed by their move to Roma striker Edin Dzeko.
Dzeko is set to sign for Inter as a replacement for the Chelsea-bound Romelu Lukaku.
But Adani told Gazzetta dello Sport: "My impression is that the Inter technical area will find itself completely unprepared for the farewell of Lukaku.
"Dzeko is a convenient choice, the one at hand and I say this with all the respect to Dzeko who is a champion but is 35 years old. Lukaku was an inevitable sale given the economic difficulties but how is it possible that Inter Milan don't have a list of emerging talents to focus on in these cases?
"Now to complete the department I would go more for (Luis) Muriel than (Duvan) Zapata, at least it would give you unpredictability."
